Collection Two . The Estate
Lina Rae Pearson checked this book on tape out from the Town of Ducan Public Library for Francis. She knew he would love the subject of the book, as he grew up in the wild among trees, and considered himself one of them.
In fact, Francis enjoyed listening to the book so much, he refused to return it, racking up over $2000 in fines over time. The library has since exonerated his charges and granted him an official pardon. He was particularly fond of the end of Side B, which merely contained field recordings of various types of tree branches blowing in the wind.
